Once the cat lost his shelter, he quickly became part of the family that welcomed him, never leaving their side throughout the day.
VentureMichelle, a charming 10-month-old tabby cat, found himself homeless after his owner was evicted and he was left behind with no one to care for him. Without proper nourishment and attention, he began to deteriorate. Little Wanderers NYC stepped in to rescue him from a potentially dire fate, ensuring that he didn’t end up on the streets.
The rescue team was quick to act and brought Venture to safety, where he is now thriving. Described as friendly and grateful, Venture is ready to find a loving home where he can be the perfect house cat. Little Wanderers NYC is dedicated to helping animals like Venture in their time of need, ensuring that they receive the care and attention they deserve.
When he was saved by Nora, he was severely underweight and suffering from malnutrition. Nora brought him home for the night and was touched by his kind and gentle demeanor. Grateful for the new company, Venture snuggled up to her and eventually fell asleep.
“He showed his gratitude by purring and holding hands, making it seem like she was his favorite person. He may be talkative, but he easily settles down right beside you.”
He was extremely picky about his food, only eating when he had a companion by his side. When Venture first came, he was thin and delicate, but he insisted on having someone with him during meal times. Nora explained that he was a clingy little bundle of fur, always wanting to be close to his human. On his initial night, Venture snuggled up and slept on her, showing his strong bond right from the start.
Venture cozied up next to Nora and nodded off into dreamland. Nora shared, “We usually put our attention on cats who are unwell or hurt, but Venture would have struggled in a shelter environment, and he is just too friendly to fend for himself outdoors. He loves the company of other amiable felines and greets everyone as a potential pal.”
Michelle, a seasoned foster parent, stumbled upon a plea for a foster home for Venture and eagerly volunteered to provide him with a loving temporary abode.
“He had aspirations of becoming a velcro kitty,” Nora said.
“He seemed like the right match for our household – we already have a young adult male cat who enjoys the company of other friendly males we foster,” Michelle shared with Love Meow.
“When we first took him in, he was severely malnourished and thin. His fur was coming out in patches, likely from the stress and lack of proper nutrition.”

Although Venture was initially nervous and a bit scrappy, he had a kind heart and a longing for affection in his cautious eyes.
“We had to coax him with meat baby food and treats, hand-feeding him until he felt comfortable enough to eat. He quickly warmed up to us and was so sociable that we were able to introduce him to our other cat within just a few days. By the end of the week, he was confidently exploring our home as if he had always been a part of our family.”
Venture settled into his new foster home with ease and has already become a beloved addition to the family. In just two weeks, he has put on a healthy pound and his once-shedding coat is now silky and shiny. Known for his sweet and affectionate nature, Venture adores cuddling with people and is quite the chatterbox, meowing and chit-chatting as he explores his surroundings. He happily allows himself to be held and will happily stay by your side for as long as you want. Place him in your lap, and he’ll settle in contentedly, bringing joy and laughter to his new home.
He loves to be around his humans, making cute meows and chirps as he follows them wherever they go. Michelle Venture’s beloved pet, named Venture, has a special toy that he adores – a fish-shaped catnip kicker that he carries around like a treasure. Always by their side, he sticks close to his owners, moving from one room to another, showing his loyalty and affection. He loves to cuddle up and share stories of his adventures through joyful chirps, making his presence a joy to be around.
Venture cherishes spending time with his beloved toy Michelle. He finds true happiness in snuggling up in bed with his loved ones and being their constant companion throughout the day. With the support of caring individuals dedicated to providing him with a bright future, Venture is excited about the new chapter ahead filled with love and positivity.
